Aruna Boodram

Aruna Boodram is a long time community organizer, agitator and media maker. She grew up deeply connected to the Trinidadian diasporic community in Toronto and is a licensed paralegal and Community Legal Worker. She is also an independent consultant and facilitator that specializes in anti-oppression, consensus and facilitation training and strategic planning sessions for non-profits and grassroots organizations. She has hosted various shows on politics, prison abolition, hip hop, anti-oppression, colonialism and resistance in Kingston and Toronto and is currently the advice columnist for Shameless Magazine. She also DJ’s monthly at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre and other fun fetes.
