Laura Wood

Laura has been teaching for over 10 years, having finished her 200 hour teacher training at Yoga Space in 2007. Laura went on to study Prenatal Yoga with Sasha Padron and soon after attained her doula certification. After the birth of her first son Laura became a Body Harmonics certified pilates teacher to help restore and re-strengthen her body after birth. Laura have been lucky enough to study with some amazing teachers in both Toronto and internationally, including Bryan Kest (Power Yoga), Seane Corn (Vinyasa), Eionn Finn (Blissology), Hali Schwartz (Restorative Yoga), Shelly Prosko (Yoga for Pelvic Health), and Jules Mitchell (Yoga Therapy and Biomechanics).

Laura draws on her own experience to provide women with a balanced movement practice that helps them feel more connected, supported and confident and is passionate about educating women on the importance of proper postpartum recovery and pelvic health.
