A workshop for yoga teachers working with seniors, and people living with MS. We will explore ways of adapting and sequencing yoga postures to improve flexibility, strength and balance for students with limited mobility. Workshop participants will learn and practice assisted stretches on the mat both seated and standing. Learn how to modify traditional asanas to counter common postural changes caused by forced inactivity and repetitive stress injuries. Develop relaxation, breathing, meditation and chanting practices for students with limited mobility and even your own practice.
