Vinyasa Yoga: In the spirit of Krishnamacharya, YogaSpace Vinyasa classes emphasize alignment in service of the breath to create a therapeutic effect. Creative sequencing varies from class to class while therapeutic sequencing rules always apply. Carefully chosen music is incorporated to instill and deepen the rhythm of the breath and inspire the spirit. Moderate/Intense

Hatha Yoga: Develop strength and flexibility while learning to consciously balance effort and rest. Release the spine through stability and breath. Hatha classes taught in the tradition of Vanda Scaravelli. Moderate

Iyengar Yoga: Ideal for students at all levels of practice, this class centers on developing stability and openness in yoga postures and the effective use of breath. Moderate

Flow Yoga: Journey through the Chakras opening the body for exploration in a sequence of postures to promote glandular health and rejuvenation. Move slowly focusing inward, as you explore your individual edge and let go of expectations of achievement. Moderate

Anusara-inspired Yoga™: Anusara Yoga is a co-participation with the Supreme. The poses are heart-oriented, and expressed from the inside out. The poses originate from a deep creative and devotional feeling inside. On our mat, we endeavor to reconnect with our innate goodness and express ourselves from that Divine place. Moderate/Intense

Power Yoga: An energizing class emphasizing deeply held, dynamic, flowing, standing, sitting and reclining poses linked together by the breath. Strong, dynamic, inspiring, empowering, calming. One hour. Moderate/Intense

Therapeutic/Restorative Yoga: An appetizer to our preregistered Therapeutic Yoga, this class combines the principles of both Restorative and Therapeutic Yoga to create a deeply healing experience. One not to be missed. Gentle

Restorative Vinyasa Flow: Begin your week with a calming yet energizing, gentle flow Vinyasa class that opens and closes with a series of delicious restorative poses.
Melt into Savasana and float home. Moderate

Community Class: Taught by students of our teacher training program, these popular Vinyasa classes tend to move slowly and are full of detailed instruction. Moderate

Saturday Night Yoga: An engaging 2 hour integration of flowing hatha sequences, calming restorative postures and gentle pranayama techniques aimed to soothe and relax body and mind.

Pilates/Yoga Fusion: Strengthen the core muscles that stabilize the spine and give the body a strong foundation, allowing more efficient and less stressful movement. Improve posture, balance, athletic performance, and help prevent injury. Moderate/Intense

Prenatal Yoga: Prepare your mind and body for the most challenging work of your life. A flow of postures and breath work to support your pregnancy and prepare you for labour. All levels may join at any point in pregnancy. Gentle/Moderate

Postnatal Yoga: Restore, tone and strengthen after childbirth. Babies welcome until they crawl. Moderate

Yoga for Parents with Mobile Children: (up to 5 years of age) Work on improving your strength and agility through a Vinyasa level 1 class. The small studio is an intimate and safe place for the children to roam and interact with each other. The class will move at a respectable pace to ensure that all parents receive a chance to participate. Meditation and breath work will be explored and the class will end with a short story or song. Moderate

Pre-registered Classes

Introduction to Yoga: In this fun and relaxed Introduction to Yoga led by our studio director, Kathryn Beet, new students gain the knowledge and skills to practice comfortably and safely in Level 1 and All levels Yoga classes on our drop-in schedule. Gentle

Therapeutic Yoga: A feast for the senses. Massage, reflexology, myofacial release and Thai Yoga massage are applied as students are guided and supported through a flow of gentle, restorative poses, draped in cotton blankets and soft eye pillows, resting over bolsters in various asanas. Deeply healing. Gentle

Restorative Yoga: 6 weeks. Assisted by the use of props, poses are held for longer periods of time. This enables us to let go of long-held tensions that manifest both physically and mentally. Gentle

Early Morning Hatha: Begin your day with a hatha class and awaken to sensation through your body. Learn how to move within your own comfortable range of motion to find ease rather than strain, fluidity instead of rigidity, lightness in place of heaviness. This class is suitable for students of all levels. Moderate

Prenatal Partner Yoga: The physical practice of Yoga builds strength, flexibility and stamina while alleviating many of the symptoms of pregnancy.

Birth Preparation: This course helps couples prepare for childbirth and the early postpartum period. Each class combines practical hands-on information with exploration of individual and group concerns.
