Yoga philosophy is not just a subject that we study in order to better understand the rich and vast history of the yoga tradition, but a doorway into a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world in which we live. As yoga practitioners our aim is to unfold a sense of balance within our entire system – be it within the physical body, the mind or in our own inner selves. When we are able to personally draw upon the wisdom that yoga philosophy offers us, this can then help us to be more effective and sensitive communicators when we are imparting these practices and their teachings to others. This course picks up where our 200 hour training left off, delving deeper into the study of the principal scriptures of the yoga tradition, but with a special focus on how to apply this directly into our teaching.
