The intersections of yoga and politics are on the forefront in the west now more than ever. With a paradigm shift in our society, we are all looking for ways to live out our politics and be the change we wish to see.

This two hour workshop, led by Yogaspace graduate teacher, Sanjeet Takhar, is a beginner level guide to oppression, racism and colonization in the yoga studio and the world. Together we will learn the meaning of each of these terms, look into the history of oppression and discover new ways to embody a kinder practise. This course is designed to open up doors to new learnings, and to have a safe space to ask tough questions. Together we will make a more equitable future.
