Practicing yoga allows a woman to focus on her pregnancy deeply. It provides an opportunity for her to consciously integrate the mental, emotional and physical changes during this period in her life. A good prenatal yoga class will create an environment in which she can access her body’s inherent birthing wisdom and trust her intuition, build her strength, confidence, and cultivate patience.

As prenatal yoga teachers we can help empower women on their journeys towards motherhood and enable them to meet the challenges of that journey with awareness, courage and gentleness.
