In this introduction to Yoga we will explore methods of creating stability, moving with the breath and connecting with the core in sitting, standing, walking and balancing postures.

Learn about:
• commonly used anatomical terms
• bringing attention to breathing
• benefits and contra-indications of forward bends, backbends, twists and inversions
• the foundation and movement in basic asanas, (postures)
• accessing tight, neglected areas of the body and finding ways to safely increase flexibility.
