This gentle introductory class will familiarize students with all the fundamental elements of Hatha yoga. Students will learn about and experience:
• How to get into and out of the postures comfortably and safely
• The function of the postures and what you should be feeling in them
• Basic anatomy and anatomical terms as applied to Yoga
• Bringing attention to the breath
• How to modify the poses for injuries and individual bodies
• How to use props to increase the benefits of the poses
• Basic Yoga class protocol ie; how we set up & finish, do's and don'ts etc.
