This 16 hour workshop features Thomas Myers’ revolutionary revision of musculoskeletal anatomy in terms of functionally connected lines of the myofascia. This workshop will give you a new perspective and a new way to assess student's and clients’ posture and movement. Each of the 12 lines are described in detail including palpation, postural assessment and direct technique using many illustrations and examples.

This course will help:

you bodyread your students' and client's postural and movement patterns with greater accuracy and integration
gain access to therapeutic strategies which may occur some distance from the site of pain or limitation
enable you to make distinct changes in your student’s and client's structure in a few short moves.

In this course you will get:

A succinct and clinically relevant introduction to the embryology, geometry and character of the connective tissue and the topology of fascial planes

A complete description of the 6 major and 6 supplemental fascial meridians along which movement, tension, and postural distortion travel
Strategy outlines for resolving postural distortions that lead to limitation and injury

This course is designed for Yoga and Pilates teachers, advanced students, as well movement teachers, manual therapists and bodyworkers of all stripes. This workshop will not include any hands-on massage techniques.
