Pranayam, as the Sanskrit term suggests, is ancient yoga practice whose aim is to ‘extend’, or ‘expand’ the prana by using the breath as the tool for this to happen. This practice involves a series of breathing exercises in order to access and awaken our internal energy system. This, along with many of the other hatha yoga techniques helps to bring about a state of balance and health within the entire physical system. Pranayam has always been an integral aspect of the overall science of hatha yoga, and was known to be a preparation into the practice of meditation. In this teacher training course, we will learn to deepen our own pranayam and meditation practice, as well as learning valuable skills in teaching them to others.

There are no refunds or make-up classes for missed classes within a workshop or pre-registered class.
