Open and enjoyable to all ages and abilities, Erin’s
yoga classes focus on being in the moment, breathing through
challenges, and balancing chakras with gentle asana flow.
Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace, as
they open their hearts, tuning into their inner guidance
and stretching their spirits.
Trained by both Bibi Hahn and Erich Schiffman, Erin’s
style is a wonderful combination ofmind and body. She also
incorporates her extensive knowledge of biology and human
anatomy in her classes, which adds one more level for students
to appreciate.
Prior to teaching yoga, Erin earned a Masters degree in
Biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
She specialized in anatomy and bio-mechanics and taught
classes in comparative anatomy, animal biology, human anatomy,
physiology and nutrition at Eckerd University, University
of North Carolina and the Institute of Holistic Nutrition
here in Toronto.
When her son, Forrest, was born, she saw how enjoyable it
was to share her yoga practice with him. As he became more
mobile, she found it very natural to teach yoga to both
her child and others. Erin brings yoga to life for kids
with props, games and songs. Children are introduced to
breath work, postures and relaxation techniques in each
class. Children and their parents love her enthusiasm and
positive attitude.
Erin is a very versatile and gifted teacher. Her knowledge,
relaxed style, and easy going attitude put her students
at ease whether they are 2 or 82 years old.
