I discovered yoga as a child through a curiosity for the yoga books on my mother’s shelves. I found it fascinating and dabbled as a child.

As the years progressed and I reached my 20’s I rediscovered yoga at a Hatha studio in Vancouver called The Prana Yoga Centre. Slowly but surely, I began to transform from being a victim of life to having a strong sense of personal power. Through mindfull living, meditation and practicing yoga everything was affected and I was redirected to my roots, my core and to improved health on a multidimensional level.

I practiced Bikrams, Ashtanga and Hatha for 7 years before developing a hunger to take this knowledge to the next level. At this time I enrolled in The Downward Dog yoga teacher training and graduated in 2005. Upon completion I was dying to share my knowledge and began teaching immediately thereafter.

In 2006 I had a home birth and attribute a lot of the pre and postnatal success to my practice of pranayama breathing and honoring the bodys changes and healing requirements through yoga. I am now teaching post-natal yoga at Yoga Space
