Madelaine was moved to become a yoga teacher during an inspiring moment in her own practice. Through the art of yoga, she creatively merges her interest in the human body and the human condition with her passion for communication and connection.

Madelaine is a graduate of the 2006 YogaSpace 200-Hour program, where she developed her warm and authentic teaching style. She furthered her education in 2007 with the Jivamukti Yoga 300-Hour Teacher Training. This experience deepened her practice and her ability to teach advanced classes and taught her excellent hands-on assists to encourage her students to move more safely and deeply into asanas. She continues to learn through workshops with teachers such as Seane Corn, Mark Whitwell, Sharon Gannon and David Life.

Madelaine is committed to teaching in the way that she practices: she approaches each vinyasa session as an exploration and considers any pose that feels out of reach as an opportunity to strengthen and open both the body and the mind. During her challenging and inspiring classes, Madelaine holds students in a natural space with her soothing voice, precise instruction and intelligent sequencing. With the continual integration of music and movement, her intention is simply for her students to revel in the magic of yoga.
