Naturopathic Doctors focus not only on the symptoms but also the underlying conditions causing the symptoms, or the root cause, and address preventable risk factors, using science-and evidence-based therapies. Dr. Kaylee is intentional about building the field of naturopathic medicine with a focus on collaborative care with physicians, therapists, and specialists, sharing patient care. She believes everyone should have a family doctor and a naturopathic doctor.

Dr. Kaylee graduated from the University of Toronto with honours in Physical Health & Education and went on to complete 2 years in stem-cell neuroscience research on stroke recovery and the plasticity of the brain, for the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. In addition to this, Dr. Kaylee also trained in the genetics of brain functions and diseases, and neuroendocrinology. Before she could accept her full scholarship for a PhD in regenerative medicine at the University of Bologna, Italy, she was introduced to naturopathic medicine and was hooked by the philosophy that naturopathic medicine promotes, “getting your body to work for you”. She then completed her degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and has completed internships all over the world, in Germany, Haiti, Italy and different clinics within South-Eastern Ontario, including Women’s College Hospital, and more recently has been working with physicians at Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital’s Hyperbaric Medical Clinic treating brain injuries and pain management. Dr. Kaylee has trained more intensely in inflammatory disease, from traumatic brain injury, stroke, and autoimmune conditions, which include a thorough understanding of the gut-brain connection and digestive disorders. She enjoys providing hormonal care and anti-aging care to patients, as a way to balance out the intensity of brain injury cases, helping her patients optimize their body funtion.
Dr. Kaylee is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Canada’s leading institution for naturopathic medicine and is a licensed naturopathic doctor registered with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
