Emily Huffman (she/her)
Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, Emily Huffman feels passionately about making ancient wisdom accessible for modern life. She is a NCCAOM-certified acupuncturist (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) who studied at SAMRA University of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles and deepened her practice in Beijing before establishing SloPoke Acupuncture in LA, where the clinic offered acupuncture, cupping, herbs, and nutritional counselling. She views Traditional Chinese Medicine through a Taoist lens – as a beautiful way to live in harmony with nature and its rhythms.
Currently based in Toronto, Emily has discovered an unexpected love for Canadian winters, embracing them as the perfect time for both napping and for deepening meditation, yoga, and qi gong practices—all of which appeal endlessly to her yin nature.
